Morro Bay....My Home

I moved to Morro Bay about 6 months ago, right after finishing a tour with the band Still Time for my internship with When It Hits Records. I made the decision to move here because at the time it was the cheapest fastest place I could find. It has turned out to be a great little fishing town with a lot of characters, more to come.....

 

Another Chapter of Franks Track

I started documenting Frank Macaluso about 2 years ago on and off, and since starting this story I have learned so much about how to earn the trust of your subject, how to walk the fine line of documenting a story and becoming a part of the story. There have been some really big obstacles in the story, frank lost custody of his son, his brother went to prison, and his father was hospitalized, but recently things are starting to look better for Frank. I still struggle to narrow down the story and still encompass all that is Franks Track, but its a new chapter and hopefully with more time I can learn to see the story as a whole, until then....

Jesuita Fire

I was asked to cover the Jesuita fire for the Pacific Coast Business Times, and met up with a couple of buddies of mine, Troy Harvey and Mark Turner. It was nice to shoot with a couple of familiar faces again. The fire was very dangerous and unpredictable as fires go, and it was lucky that it never made it into downtown.
